The 2nd Annual NW NGNA Scholarship Gala and Silent Auction: “Multicultural Perspectives in Health Aging” was a success! Thank you to all who participated and enjoyed the celebration!
Our scholarships are offered as part of our mission to promote quality care for the older adult by enhancing the professionalism of the gerontological healthcare worker through collaboration and education.
Awards: Scholarships will be awarded to fund a specific professional development activity that supports nursing care of older adults happening between September 1, 2015 to November 1, 2016.
Each scholarship also includes a one year membership in the NW NGNA.
Funding can be used for:
$300 Nursing Student Scholarship: Open to any person living in Washington state who is enrolled in an accredited nursing educational program at the time of application deadline e.g., nursing assistants, pre-requisites for any level nursing program, ADN, BSN, MN, MSN, CNS, DNP, and PhD.
$300 Nursing Professional Scholarship: Open to anyone living in Washington state who is working as a nurse or nursing assistant in any care setting.

Scholarship winners will be announced by December 15, 2015. Winners will plan to attend the annual scholarship gala to be recognized. Gala date TBD for 2016.
